Jesse H. Hudson, Esq. has a JD and MS in International Development from Tulane Law School, Master's in International and European Law from University of Amsterdam, and a BA magna cum laude in Anthropology from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has worked in the psychedelic space for 15 years serving as a lawyer, consultant, and advisor for leading organizations including ICEERS' Ayahuasca Defense Fund, Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines, Sage Institute for Psychedelic Therapy, Enthea Health, Journey Colab, Vine Ventures, and the SSDP Psychedelic Pipeline. He is a co-author of Bubbling with Controversy: Legal Challenges for Ceremonial Ayahuasca Circles in the U.S. with Bia Labate and Kevin Feeney and benchmarks of corporate ESG compliance with the EU Non-Financial Reporting Directive, Dodd-Frank §1502, the UK Modern Slavery Act, and the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act with Development International. He is a director of Fundación Kené Rao, an indigenous entrepreneurship incubator and IP defense fund in Pucallpa, Peru, and co-founder of Corporación Agraria IP2 RAO S.A.C., a Shipibo-owned co-op growing ayahuasca and other medicinal plants in the Shipibo community of Santa Clara, near San Francisco, Peru. He is Chief Legal Officer at Woven Science, where he leads El Puente, Woven’s pioneering system for reciprocity with indigenous peoples in the psychedelics sector.
