QUEER PSYCHEDELIC VISIONARIES

We proudly celebrate Queer, non-binary, and gender diverse perspectives on psychedelics, as part of the inaugural World Psychedelics Day(WPD). With four incredible experts in the psychedelics space from the fields of: science, spirituality, and sociology, to explore: how psychedelics can assist in understanding one’s own sexuality and finding self-acceptance even with a cultural and societal backdrop of homophobia and judgement, and how MDMA, ketamine and ayahuasca have been used in psychedelic-assisted therapy with transgender and gender diverse Individuals. We delve into the hidden history of Queer people in psychedelics, including the disturbing use of psychedelics in so-called "conversion therapy” as well as traditional cultural traditions that accept gender difference and fluidity. How LGBTQIA people in psychedelics are rising up and how straight people in the psychedelic community worldwide can be better allies to Queer psychonauts.
